OGUN State chapter of African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the House of Representatives for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Prof Gabriel Babasola Onolaja, has assured people from his constituency of attracting federal projects that would make life more meaningful to them.
The ADP candidate gave this assurance at separate rallies in Ijebu- Ode, Erunwon, Iwesi, Igbeba and its environs, lamenting that quite a lot had been lost in the constituency due to inexperience and non-commitment by serving lawmakers in Ijebu Federal Constituency over the years.
“We ought to have achieved better development in Ijebu- Ode and its environs if only those representing the constituency have been committed to the ideals of better governance,” he said.
Onolaja, who paid courtesy calls on some traditional rulers within Ijebu- Ode Central Federal Constituency as part of activities lined up for the general elections, said he was offering to serve his constituency at the National Assembly under the platform of the ADC, saying he would provide the desired service, while equally promoting transparency, integrity and the rule of law.

According to Onolaja, who is a professor of physics and a security expert, his focus will be on job creation, empowerment for the youth, widows and the aged, assuring that he would ensure the establishment of a Federal Polytechnic in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency.
The politician equally told the gathering that he would work at ensuring that Federal roads which pass through Ijebu- Ode were rehabilitated to cater for the rising population.
