The Delta State command of the Nigerian police force has declared a 27-year-old man, identified as Kome Ogaga, wanted for killing an 11-year-old boy, Hossanna Merritt, while testing a locally made gun in Delta State.
This was disclosed by the public relations officer of Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, on Thursday.
According to him, the unfortunate incident happened on Monday, August 22, 2022, and the suspect is currently on the run as of the time of this report.
The Delta PPRO has, however, called on the good people of Delta State and Nigerians at large to help look for the suspect in order to get justice for the family of the poor boy whose life has been cut short.
The statement read, “On Monday 22/8/2022, this suspect, Kome Ogaga, age 27, while testing a locally made gun, shot and killed one 11-year-old boy, Hossanna Merritt. The suspect abandoned his house and ran away. Pls whoever knows his whereabouts should help so that the little boy can get justice.”
