Picture Kodak, popular Nigerian video vixen, is dead

Popular dancer and video vixen, LD, also known as Picture Kodak has died. She died on Wednesday, April 29.

Although the cause of death has not been announced by her family or management, there are speculations from friends, colleagues and social media comments that she was electrocuted while charging her phone at a video director’s home in Omole Estate, Lagos. She was confirmed dead after being rushed to a nearby hospital also in Omole Estate. 

Her death has sparked various comments on social media with many entertainers, especially those who knew her personally or worked with paying tributes to her memory. Rapper, Olamide took to his Instagram page to pen down his tribute, saying “Rest Up” with a picture of him and her.

Blaqbonez had also tweeted: “the vixen in the ‘Haba’ Video, ‘Picture Kodak’ just died, it hurts so much cos we became close after, I don’t know how to handle my emotions.”

Other dancers like Poco Lee, The Xpandables, Sharon Mia among others have also paid tributes.

Known for her energetic dance styles and unique fashion, Picture Kodak influenced her peers through dance and became very popular in her craft.
