SOME members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Tuesday kicked as only member of the party in Adamawa
The Speaker, Hon Yakubu Dogara read the lawmaker’s defection letter on the floor of the House.
The lawmaker in the letter said that he was leaving PDP because of the division in the party.
Minority Whip, Hon Yakubu Barde kicked against the defection citing constitutional order said that there was no division in the party.
Hon Johnson Agbonayinma also kicked against the defection saying that, Senator Alimodu Sheriff remains the National Chairman of the party.
Hon Sunday Karimi on his part, said that in line with the practice of the House, when a case is in court we maintain status quo.
