PDP, ADC bigwigs defect to APC in Ogun Tuesday

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State said it will, on Tuesday, receive political juggernauts from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement by the party’s caretaker committee publicity secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye, the State Governor will be receiving them into the APC fold at an event slated to hold at the Ake’s palace ground.

Oladunjoye in the statement said the development was part of the inaugural speech of Abiodun, that his administration would run an all-inclusive government including politicians of various political parties and technocrats.

Prominent among them were the former deputy governor of the state, Alhaja Salmot Badru; the governorship candidate of ADC, Prince Gboyega Isiaka; two-term member of the House of Representatives, Apostle Dave Salako; former state chairman and Secretary of PDP, Elder Joju Fadairo and Chief Pegba Otemolu respectively.
