The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat, played host to the Conference Planning Committee, ably led by the Conference Chairman, at the Police Headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan. The police hierarchy, who hosted the ICAN team, included the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Finance and Admin, and the Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations, among others. The Police Chief eulogized the quality of ICAN members and the Institute itself. The quality of the examination has earned Chartered Accountants respect amongst other professionals. He promised to be a part of the conference as well as deploy adequate security personnel for the protection of the delegates.
Earlier, the Conference Chairman, Mr. Abiodun Adedeji, briefed the police hierarchy about the upcoming 18th Western Zonal Conference and equally invited the police chiefs to the opening ceremony, Closing Ceremony, and gala night. Some members of the LOC on the visit are Mrs. Omotunde Olawale and Mr. Emiola Ademola Quadri.
The Conference Director and the Host Chairman, Dr. Temitope Babajide, gave the vote of thanks.
