Oyo State has recorded one more COVID-19 death bringing the total number of deaths reported in the state to two.
Head of the Oyo COVID-19 task force, Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed this while giving a case update in the state, during the early hours of Monday.
The dead person is one of the three new COVID-19 cases announced on Saturday night.
The development means that there are currently eight active cases in the state, while the total number of confirmed cases in the state stands at 21, as of Monday morning.
