Gospel music minister, songwriter, and revivalist, Dr Oyindamola Adejumo-Ayibiowu, will today lead other music ministers and clerics to lift the ‘Lamb Slain’ in a city-wide music concert tagged ‘Oratorio 2023’, happening at the sports parvillion, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State.
The annual programme was created decades ago when Oyindamola, daughter of late legendary actor and entertainer, Moses Adejumo (a.k.a Baba Sala), was a student at Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State.
Twenty-five years after, the music concert has become a city-wide crusade with different ‘Oratorios’ held in different cities.
Oyindamola noted that this year’s edition of Oratorio is a product of answered prayers and collaborative planning, that it will be an Oratorio with a difference.
“I released my hit song ‘Oluwa mo ohun ti ose’ at Oratorio 1998 and the prophetic song has defined me with so many encounters.
“Oratorio Concert 2023 is being backed by the Osun State chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship Nigeria (PFN), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), to give it a lift.
“Gospel music ministers of repute like Apostle Elijah Daniel of ‘Olorun Ko So be’, Niyi Fadipe of “Ijinle Ninu Ijinle Eseun O’ songs, and others like US-based Tolulope Onakoya, Feyi Stephens, Swaga Papa, Victor Alesh, Angel Happiness, and others will be present.”
“More songs will also be released today, just like when I released IYANU at Oratorio 2021”.
This year’s edition, has the theme ‘LAMBS SLAIN’ and the convener urges Nigerians to keep hope in God and encounter Him at the Federal Polytechnic Ede.
