The Chairman of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Sunday Bisi on Monday said that the party has embarked on sensitising programmes across all the Local Government of the state in preparation for the 2022 governorship election.
He explained that, out of the 31 Local Government councils in the state, they have sensitised people in nine (9) local councils and assured that, they are still going to cover others for effective results at the poll.
The Chairman who made this known in an interview in Osogbo, also pointed out that all necessary arrangements had been made by the leadership of the party to reconcile all aggrieved members of the party before the commencement of the exercise.
Hon Bisi who pointed out that, differences are inevitable in any setting, explained that, in no distance time, all the warring members in the party would be reunited for the advancement of the party.
He however charged all members of the party to come together as one family to make the structures of the party more formidable to outsmart other political parties in the contest of next year gubernatorial election in the state.
According to him, victory could only be recorded in the atmosphere of peace and that is why it is imperative for all party members to live in harmony and work as one.
The Chairman who expressed optimism that, his party would be victorious in the next political disposition affirmed that the electorate is on the side of PDP in the state.
Hon Bisi further maintained that the party is the only party that could lessen the suffering of the masses and charged people of the state to rally around her for effective results in the coming election.
The PDP boss stressed that all leaders of the party are also mapping out plans to ensure the victory of the party at the poll.
He however charged all party members to shun disparity, segregation, sectionalism, Acrimonies and nepotism that could retard the progress of the party.
