They recommended for the training of local government staff members to further key into the new parliamentary system.
The Osun Assembly, however, frowned at the Chairman of Ede North Local Government and his team who refused to show up for the exercise, directing the Clerk of the House to write him for his explanation on why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.

The Osun Assembly House also felicitated with all traditional worshipers particularly in Osogbo over the 2018 Osun-Osogbo festival coming up on Friday, it urged celebrants to celebrate peacefully and ensure that they are law-abiding in their conducts.
In the same vein, the Osun Assembly House which described the current moment of the state as a sensitive time as it prepares for the September 22 gubernatorial election urged indigenes and residents of the state to shun violence before, during and after the poll.
