All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in the forthcoming poll in Osun State, Mr Bola Suliman Olaniyi, has charged party leaders to ensure they seek God’s guidance in choosing the flagbearer that will succeed the incumbent, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as the next Executive Governor of the state.
The governorship aspirant gave the council in a statement made available to the Nigerian Tribune, even as he observed that some of the party leaders of going about parading a candidate of their own choice and relying on “their own carnal decision” while ignoring God’s instruction.
Mr Olaniyi said it was the will of God that he should succeed Ogbeni Aregbesola as the next Osun State governor, describing himself as the determinant and panacea for the APC governorship election victory in the state, come 2018.
“It is the will of God that I succeed the incumbent Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as the next Executive Governor of the State, but some of the party leaders in the state don’t have respect and regard for God’s instruction but believe in their own carnal decision and thereby go about parading a candidate of their own choice.
“I am the determinant and panacea for All Progressive’s Congress Governorship Election Victory in Osun State in 2018. That means I am the only candidate that can make the people of Osun State vote for the party in the forthcoming governorship election holding in August this year.

“I boldly say that denying me of the gubernatorial ticket as the party’s flagbearer will earn the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress zero victory in the forthcoming governorship election,” the APC governorship aspirant said.
According to him, the people of Osun are now wiser based on their “sour experience” in the hands of some those who paraded themselves as party leaders, saying that youths in the state, in particular, were resolved to vote for personality “after sufficient evaluation of aspirants” gunning for top seat in the state.
“Unlike before when people were fooled and made to vote on empty promises and tortoise stories, people are now wise,” he said.
This was just as the APC governorship aspirant said money bags were now all over the state ahead of the poll desperately trying to buy people’s conscience oblivious of the fact that Osun voters were now wiser.
“Money sprayers are now all over the state dashing out money, giving motorbike, tricycles, grinding machines, while many of them slaughter cows and goats organizing open feasting for people purposely to buy their minds which they could no more achieve. To me organizing and slaughtering cows means ‘hungry people come and eat sacrifice,’ taking people to be paupers,” Olaniyi said.
“Broadly speaking, God who knows the beginning and the end can never make a mistake nominating and backing me to serve His beloved people purposely to carry out my mission to turn around the situation of my people’s lives and turn the state to a robust, ever-booming economy that will make the people live in joy,” he concluded.
