He may want to send a memo to the deans of the faculties of Law, both in the state and federal universities, demanding the names of the affected law graduates who cannot attend the Law School due to no fault of theirs.
The Federal Government should consider subsidising their education at the Law School through some of the loot recovered from politicians. Many of the affected graduates made strenuous efforts to raise money through friends and family and through various forms of labour, but just could not raise the needed money.
It would be in the interest of the nation to help them realise their objective of becoming barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, even if certain conditions, such as serving the government for a specific period of time after graduation, are going to be attached to it.
To say that the current economic recession in the country is affecting even law graduates is to state the obvious. There are far too many brilliant Law graduates who are roaming the streets and it will be in the national interest to take them off the streets.
