The Executive Secretary disclosed this yesterday while briefing newsmen in his office at Dutse the state capital said the low payment for the 2018 hajj exercise is worldwide, and it happened as a result of the economic meltdown in the world.
According to him, out of the 736 people that completed their payment from the state, the visa of 632 intending pilgrims are ready for the flight to Saudi Arabia.

Alhaji Sani Alhassan maintained that, so far there is no specific time for the flight of Jigawa intending pilgrims as the board is waiting for Basic Transportation Allowances from the respective Banks.
He assured the pilgrims that, the board concluded all the arrangement to ensure the successful Hajj operation this year.
The executive secretary then urged the intending pilgrims to remain law-abiding citizens and to pray for Nigeria’s peace, Unity and development.
