Oladipo, a former national vice chairman, South-West of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gave this assurance in Osogbo, speaking against a media report, he said had wrongly posited that the party’s leadership in Osun State is not aware of Omisore’s governorship ambition, hence creating a bleak future for him in the state.
Oladipo, flaying this report said to have been credited to the suspended state chairman of the party, Chief Ademola Ishola, described it as “the ranting of a frustrated political loser, who is only transferring aggression in the media, having realised he had lost out in the political equation of Osun, which he said “is very favourable to Otunba Iyiola Omisore.”
“Ishola is already a suspended member of SDP in Osun State, so, he no longer has any locus standing to speak for, or represent the party again.
More so, he is no longer privy to developments at the mainstream of activities, so, even standing on the fence, he is totally unqualified to represent the party’s interest,” Oladipo said.
According to Oladipo, the national leadership of the party had, on June 21, suspended Ishola because “his action is frustrating aspirants by denying them access to vital information which constitutes flagrant disloyalty to the course and intent of the party thereby undermining the interest of the party.”
This attitude, the SDP chieftain said, Ishola had not desisted from as he said was “attested to by his latest handwriting in the media,” and “such a man should not be taken seriously since his position is not in tandem with the present reality in the party and among Osun electorate.”

“At present, Omisore is the barometer for political measurement in Osun State. People’s acceptance of his person is overwhelming, we can see this life everywhere he goes, he receives optimal support from the mass of people, who are already tired of the current political leadership in the state.
“Besides, it is in public domain that Otunba Omisore had collected his expression of interest form at the headquarters office of SDP in Abuja, in a widely publicised event, with full consent from the national leadership who issued the form. This is the most important step in announcing his intention which he had done.
“So, whoever is saying anything, on the contrary, has lost touch with the reality on the ground in the party. Ishola’s case is like that of a prodigal son, who erred but was not rejected by his father after he repented and begged for forgiveness, same for Ishola if he repents and asked to be forgiven, I know the party would be ready to reabsorb him.
“If not, he should keep quiet, accept his fate, reorder his steps and find something gainful doing, since he is already missing out among passengers in this victory train riding on to take over power from the incumbent governor in Osun State on September 22, by the grace of God,” Oladipo said.
