Dignitaries from all walks of life are expected to grace the 21st coronation anniversary of the Olu of Itori, His Royal Majesty Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo, Agbodere I, which is scheduled to take place in February 2025.
A statement from the palace of the Olu of Itori indicated that business partners from within and the diaspora are expected to celebrate the occasion with the monarch.
Oba Akamo who had since assumed the throne of his forefathers, facilitated unprecedented growth in Itori land was quoted to have stated that the 21st coronation anniversary is going to be an occasion to further use his connections with business associates for the development of his domain.
“My plan is to make Itori a cynosure of eyes to all and sundry and by the grace of God, I shall achieve that”, Oba Akamo promised.

While commending the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for creating enabling environment for the overall development of the state, he assured that he would seek the support of his co-obas in the state in ensuring the growth of the traditional institutions.
Oba Akamo who is noted for his philanthropic gestures declared his intention to extend the gesture beyond his territory planning to use his wealth to make more impacts on people’s lives by giving out more and donating more to the people not only in his community alone but the entire Egbaland.
Dignitaries expected at the coronation anniversary include: state governors, ministers, royal fathers from all over the country and business partners within and outside the country.
“who is who in Nigeria, from presidency to local government level will be present. Politicians and captains of industries will not be left out”, it was further stated.
