Naptari Kefas, the elected NULGE president who was serving his second term in office cut the tenure short to purchase intention and nomination form to contest for member house of representative for Wukari/Ibi federal constituency.
Briefing journalist at NULGE State Secretariat in Jalingo Taraba State capital, the newly inaugurated acting president Prince Musa Mamud Bali said his inauguration was base on the constitutions and laws of the laws of the union.
Musa also calls on the Local Government workers in the State to remain steadfast and committed to the leadership of the union both in the State and at the National level to protect and better their warfare.
He said despite the departure of the president to participate in politics and subsequent handover to him as acting president, the leadership of the union in the State under him still remain focus and committed to workers warfare in the State.

Reacting to the Local Government workers warfare in the State, Karamu, appreciates the efforts of governor Darius Ishaku for keeping to his campaign promises by paying the Local Government workers in the State not just monthly but also promptly.
He said Local Government workers in the State do enjoy monthly salaries unlike other States of the federation where Local Government workers are been owed for several months.
“We are working happily here in the State because our wages are been paid monthly and promptly, the Governor came and inherited two months salary areas from the previous government.”
“The Governor since his assumption in office did not owe Local Government workers, the two months salaries was an arrear from the past government which we believe he soon pay to the workers.”
“Our plea with him now is to try his best and clear the two months arrears so that workers will laugh more, he has promised recently that he was going to pay and we also have the trust that he will pay the two months arrears as earlier promised.”
