The Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sani Mustapha has reiterated the resolve of the Corps to rejuvenate the existing synergy between them and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state.
Mustapha stated this on Wednesday at the command headquarters in Gusau, the state capital, when he hosted the newly posted sector commander of the FRSC CC Umar Matazu to Zamfara State.
The Zamfara NSCDC boss reaffirmed that the corps under his administrative purview is poised to accord the FRSC all needed assistance for them to succeed in their operations.
He also expressed the readiness of the corps to partner with the FRSC in the enforcement of the state executive order on the ban on the usage of tinted car glasses, sirens and covered plate numbers.
Earlier, the new sector commander of the FRSC in Zamfara State, CC Umar Matazu extolled the collaborative synergy that had existed between the corps and the FRSC both at the national and the state levels.
Matazu said that the essence of his visit was to revamp the already existing synergy and make it a holistic approach to the operations of the two agencies.
He therefore solicited further collaborations between the two agencies and understanding in the areas of field operations of the FRSC.
