Senator Istifanus Gyang has stated that the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) Act signed by President Bola Tinubu will drive development and address peculiar challenges facing the geo-political zone.
Recall that in the 9th Senate, Senator Gyang co-sponsored the Bill for the North Central Development Commission along with Senator Abba Moro, current Minority Leader of the 10th Senate.
In a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Barr. Evelyn Pulle, Senator Gyang commended the president adding that the signing of the bill demonstrates his regard for equity, fairness, inclusiveness and regional balancing as each of the six geo-political regions now has a commission to drive sustainable developments.

Senator Gyang expressed happiness to have been part of the legislative process inherited and actualized by the 10th National Assembly adding by signing the bill, some of the basic issues begging for attention in the zone will be attended to.
Senator Gyang equally commended the leadership and members of the 10th Senate and House of Representatives for their efforts and determination towards the passage of the Bill.
“The take off of the NCDC will no doubt play a key role in engendering development, address challenges of infrastructure deficit, displaced communities, and the need for reconstruction, among many others” he said.
