The NIS Boss, who spoke through the image-maker of the service, Malam Abubakar Mukhtar said the migrants so far captured were those from Africa, Asia and Europe.

According to him, some foreign nationals from neighbouring states of Kwara and Kogi were captured in the state due to what they described as congestion in those states.

He, however, described the exercise as a huge success, adding that though the amnesty period had elapsed, they were now waiting for further directives from the service’s headquarters in Abuja, for further action.
