Nigeria’s repositioning Kyari’s main goal in office, Civil Service Commission boss tells Buhari

The chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Dr Tukur Ingawa, has observed that the main goal in office of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, was the repositioning of Nigeria to make it work better for all citizens.

In a condolence message he addressed to the president, the commission’s boss observed that what would be missed most about his demise was his deft managerial ability especially at this critical phase in the nation’s history.

The former Chief of Staff died in a Lagos hospital last Friday from complications related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

While condoling the president, Tukur noted that Kyari’s death was a painful one given his commitment to implementing the administration’s development agenda.

Ingawa wrote: “On behalf of myself, Hon. Commissioners, the Management and entire Staff of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC). I would like to express our deep condolences to Your Excellency on the sad event of the passing away of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abha Kyari on April 17, 2020.

“Mallam Kyari’s demise is painful and regrettable considering his patriotic resoluteness in championing the effective implementation of Your Excellency’s socio-economic and political development agenda for our great country in the lust live (5) years.

“Indeed, his commendable sense of organization and unwavering commitment to the administration’s vision to reposition and launch the country on the path of sustainable development have stood him out as a dependable Presidential Aide whose contributions have abiding relevance. No doubt, his deft managerial capabilities will be greatly missed, particularly at this distressing period of great global social and economic challenges.

“May Allah SWT forgive Mallam Abba Kyari’s shortcomings and grant him Affannah Fir-dausi. May the Almighty Allah also grant Your Excellency, his family and the entire nation the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
