A Nigerian student, Azeez Akinyemi, has been selected to participate in a fully funded symposium on business leadership at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Centre, Harvard Medical School.
The five-day conference, organized by The Global Business Symposium held between March 24-28, 2025, brought together students, young leaders, and entrepreneurs from around the world and offered participants the opportunity to earn a Leadership & Business Management Certification (LBMC).
The syllabus for the LBMC 2025 was created with theoretical insights and focused on key areas such as leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational behavior, touching on all the crucial steps required to ensure organizational success.
It was designed to help leaders learn not just about leadership itself, but also how to effectively manage business operations and run successful businesses in the future.
As part of its support for applicants, the organization offered 15 fully funded seats covering round-trip airfare, accommodation, certification, an invitation letter for visa assistance, all conference fees, and group activities. Akinyemi was one of the selected few.
While expressing his delight at the opportunity, Azeez said the symposium was more than just a leadership program.
“It was an intense, transformative week of real-world learning, critical thinking, networking, and inner growth alongside brilliant professionals and leaders from across the globe. Each day was packed with eye-opening sessions, practical frameworks, and powerful conversations that challenged my perspective and stretched my capacity.”
