Fadahunsi gave the charge in his Ilase country home during a church service, commemorating Nigeria’s 57th independence anniversary.
The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Senatorial candidate for Osun East in the 2015 general election maintained that amidst challenges, Nigeria remains on the right path to greatness.
According to Fadahunsi, failure of the past should not deter people of goodwill from working towards building a virile country where the strong will protect the weak.
He stated, “I remain very optimistic about Nigeria surmounting all her challenges. We won’t be deterred. Nigeria belongs to all of us and we should all join efforts and make sure we build a country where the weak will not be denied their right.
“I urge all people of goodwill not to lose hope in Nigeria. We shall get there. But we must learn from all past mistakes. Whoever we want to trust with the position of leadership must be those with a kind heart.
“Leadership challenges will be surmounted when we followers stand our ground and refuse to be bought for peanuts. Anyone that will be given opportunity must be thoroughly scrutinized.
“As for me, I am committed to serving humanity. I am rededicating myself to serving my people. I was doing it in the past and I am still offering my effort whenever such is needed for the common good and I will continue to do it,” Fadahunshi posited.
