The Niger State Police Command has informed the public, sister security agencies, and other key stakeholders that it will conduct a shooting range practice on November 1st, 8th, and 15th, 2024, between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The exercise will take place behind the Nigerian Air Force Base in Maikunkele, on the outskirts of Minna, the state capital.
This was stated in a press release issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, on Thursday in Minna.

The Command urges residents, the general public, and other security agencies not to panic at the sound of gunshots during these dates at the specified location.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, psc, fsi, appreciates the continued cooperation and understanding of the public and other security agencies, reaffirming the Command’s commitment to proactive and responsive public service.
