In a bid to empower children with albinism, a non-governmental organisation, the Iretiola Albinism Unity Network, has organised a 4-day workshop for children living with albinism
The workshop was held respectively on 3,10,17 and 24 February in Ibadan.

Speaking with Tribune Online, the founder of the initiative, Ifeoluwa Faniran, explained that the workshop was organised to create self-awareness and build self-confidence in children with albinism.
She further added that the workshop is aimed at enhancing self-awareness and confidence among children with albinism, fostering their integration into society
Faniran highlighted that the goal of the workshop is to nurture young advocates for the inclusion of people with albinism while She emphasized the importance of equal opportunities for children with albinism to lead fulfilling lives.
She, however, urged parents to embrace and support their children with love, emphasizing acceptance and inclusivity within families and society at large.
