This is more so in Nigeria where a huge number of communities face challenges in getting clean water majorly as a result of lack of infrastructure and poverty.
Rural communities are more affected by this and the global warming across the world seems to be putting great pressure on the land and consequently, the people.
I wish to call on governments at all levels especially at the local government level to show commitment to the welfare of the people and be involved in the global goal of clean water for all by the year 2030.
If adequate attention is given to provision of water, a lot of communicable and water borne diseases will be eradicated
