The commendation was made by the Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, tour of the company’s plant in Edo State, recently.
Obaseki, expressed delight at the company’s commitment towards expanding its operation in the state, while lauding the company for its decision to remain a long-term investor in the state.
“This new development serves as a positive indicator and underscores how important Edo State is economically. As a government, we aim to attract, support and empower law abiding investors by creating a peaceful, secure and safe environment where any form of business can expand and thrive” he said.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman, Board of Directors, NBC, Ambassador Segun Apata, expressed the company’s gratitude to the state for creating an enabling environment for the company and others to operate.
“We are indebted to you for your intervention. Your support to our business has been very invaluable and it is only fitting and proper for you to see what we do and experience our process here in our Benin plant” he said.
