The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) has faulted the alleged leadership claims of Princess Aderonke Adedoja, Ademola Adebayo and others, describing it as breach of the constitution.
NANTS had in an official statement signed by Apesin Abiodun Adegoke, the Southwest Secretary of NANTS, faulted their alleged leadership claims, thereby warning them to stop parading themselves in that capacity.
The association condemned the actions of Adedoja and her associates over alleged presentation as the Southwest Coordinator and Secretary of NANTS.
According to the statement, their activities have been flagged as illegal and misleading, with the association taking steps to address the matter through legal channels.
The association urged the public and authorities to disregard any communications from Princess Aderonke Adedoja and Ademola Adebayo regarding NANTS.
Adegoke further warned that any continued misrepresentation of the association would result in legal action to safeguard the integrity of NANTS.
The leadership expressed its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the organization and ensuring that its true representatives are recognized and respected.
This warning follows growing concern over alleged impersonation and the spread of misinformation within trade organizations, with NANTS vowing to protect its legitimate members and operations from such fraudulent activities.
