My son’s gonorrhoea

My 14 year-old son who is in JSS2 recently complained of painful urination with some discharge of pus. The doctor who attended to him diagnosed gonorrhea and treated him. I was shocked by this discovery while my son has also strongly denied having sex with any girl in his life. I don’t know who to believe, the doctor or my son. Could he have caught the disease from the toilet? Please help me solve the riddle.

Your son’s symptoms tally with gonorrhea, so the doctor should be correct in his diagnosis. My advice will be for you to believe the doctor and have a serious talk with your son on the dangers of unprotected sex, especially at such a tender age. In addition, you should also closely monitor his activities to avoid a repeat of the incidence.
