The fixtures are the last of the season which will eventually determine the winners and the losers of 2016-17 period, as such there is a pertinent need to prevent any form of match fixing.
In a release issued in Abuja on Tuesday and signed by its Chairman, Comrade Musa Danjaji and Secretary, Vincent Okorofor, the group said it has information that some club sides are already in talks to influence the results after some underground financial dealings.
“It has been months of interesting results since the first week of this season in February which gives some level of credibility to it as one the best leagues in African. But this integrity must be highly protected with the close monitoring of this round of matches.
“As it is now, the winners for this season are yet to emerge with close points between about first five teams having the potentials to be crown as overall champions”, the group further added.
