1. Regular communication and transparency

When you draft your daily schedule, it’s important to include communication with your partner. This could be texts, lovely emails, video or voice calls, or recorded videos or voice notes. The goal is to keep in touch. However, if you stall and wait for the ‘right’ time to catch up, it might never come. Therefore, prioritise regular communication.

 Also, you must be honest and open about things, especially online. Being unusually discreet could endanger the health of your relationship and cause a strain between you both. Dishonesty can stifle a genuine connection between you and your partner.

2. Be a present partner

In a long-distance relationship, make every moment count—the conversations and interactions in general. Be involved in every detail, from what your partner is up to and their experiences to other events as they come up. Also, they should know their goals well and support them in significant and tangible ways.
