The Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji has congratulated the ministerial nominee from the state, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo on his nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Speaker in a statement signed by his Special Adviser Media, Sehinde Fanokun, said the did not come as a surprise, saying it was borne out of Tunji-Ojo’s selfless service delivery which has become his identity.
“Since his adventure into politics, Honourable Tunji-Ojo has taken several giant strides such that he has left no one in doubt of his tremendous rise in politics.
“Your appointment is a worthy reward for dilligence in your service to humanity” he said
Oladiji noted that Tunji Ọjọ stands tall among his peers in the delivery of democracy dividends to the people and described his nomination as a round peg in a round hole.
He said “I have no iota of doubt that Nigeria will derive maximum benefits from Honourable Tunji Ọjọ in the service to the land and the people”.
While wishing Tunji-Ojo huge success in his new assignment, the Ondo Speaker expressed optimism that Nigerians, indeed Ondo state indegenes will benefit greatly from the appointment.
