Ingredients
- Spaghetti
- Onion(thinly sliced)
- Leek (vegetable)
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Tomatoes
- Sachet tomato
- Dry pepper
- Pepper (green pepper)
- Cameroon pepper
- Paprika
- Bay leaf
Procedure for cooking spaghetti
- Pour water inside the pot to boil, when boiled then pour the spaghetti inside the boiling water.
- Add salt to taste.
- Allow it to cook but don’t let it be soft. Just cook for 2 minutes then put it in a drainer for it to drain and set it aside.
Procedure for minced beef
- Cut the sachet tomato and pour inside a bowl and add a little water then stir to make it a bit pasty.
- Fry onion and add a little bit of ginger in it though I know most of you don’t like ginger but please stop ignoring ginger.
- Add some green pepper and green chilli bullet (the long slim ones)
- Add the tomato paste (puree paste) then allow it fry but you have to keep stirring till it becomes very dry and when you taste it, it will taste sweet.
- Get another frying pan and pour your vegetable oil inside. Pour the onion and green pepper and minced beef inside (you can get it at any shopping mall). You are just going to cook it until it is brown.
- Now we add the minced beef to the sauce and mix it all together till it becomes very creamy, then add water and stir.
- Pour another oil inside the pan then add onion and the usual green pepper because it always gives it a flavour. Now add your fresh tomatoes (it’s going to add another dimension into the spaghetti). Add a bit of seasoning so it doesn’t taste bland.
- Now to season the sauce, just add garlic, Cameroon pepper, paprika, bay leaf is also very important (do not forget that step) and if you like you can add a bit of curry. Don’t forget your salt and season cube. Then, stir together
- Now you can add your pasta (spaghetti) into the sauce and stir together
- After mixing the spaghetti with the sauce very well you can then add the fried tomatoes inside and mix everything together again.
- Mix and mix, then add a little bit of water and allow the spaghetti to cook for 30 minutes, then serve.
