The national president, Methodist High School, Ibadan Old Boys’ Association (MHISOBA), Bishop Ademola Moradeyo, has commended board of trustee chairman (BoT) of the association, Yemi Morakinyo for his outstanding performance regarding the school.
Bishop Moradeyo made the remark during the three-day educational training workshop organised by the Old Students Association of 1972 to 76 set known as the Dukes.
The chairman of the old students association of 1972/76 set, Mr Kolawole Gilbert Sode commended the teachers for their efforts in bringing sanity to the school as well as raising the standard of education of the students.
The three-day workshop held between April 22 and 24, concentrated on the general review of the school performance; mitigate foreseeable challenges; establish teaching and learning methodology unique to raise the bar and encourage the school management in monitoring and evaluation among others.
The Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Teaching Service Commission zone 3, Alhaja Serifat Abimbola commended members of the association for uplifting the standard of the school as well as giving kudos to the teaching staff of the school.
Among dignitaries at the occasion are the representatives of the local inspector of education from Oluyole Local Government Area, Mrs Agboola Dorcas, the school principal, Mrs Adebisi Adenike and others.
