CourtThe Police on Tuesday arraigned a 22-year-old mechanic, Yusuf Abdulaziz, in a Barnawa Customary Court, Kaduna, for allegedly stealing N30,000.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Zaradeen Umar told the court that on Feb. 10, one Babangida Usman, of Black Gold Orientation Camp, Kaduna, reported the case at the Barnawa Police Station.

According to Umar, on Feb. 9 at about 10.00a.m., the complainant and his friend, Nabib Ishaku, obtained a pass from the orientation camp to go into Kaduna town in order to update their ATM cards.

The prosecutor said that on reaching Barnawa branch of GT Bank for the ATM card update, they met the defendant who offered to help them get a hotel to lodge as it was late for them to go back to the camp.
