The Campaign Coordinator of the Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa Federal Constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the last local government election, Surveyor Adefabi Dasola has commended the Oyo State Governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, for the successful conduct of the local government poll, which he said was devoid of any crisis.
Adefabi, stated this in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital while speaking with journalists on the outcome of the election which saw the thirty-three local government areas of the State being won by the ruling party in the State.
He said the preparedness of the party before, during and after the campaign gave it the leverage over opposition parties and led to its victory.
Adefabi, added that the performance of the governor and former Chairmen under PDP also helped the newly-elected Chairmen and their councillors to easily coast home to victory.

He went on to congratulate the Chairmen of the four local government areas that constitute Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa federal constituency on their success, charging them to work on the template of the State administration to achieve more for the people in their various communities.
“We salute the doggedness of our leader, the Governor of Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde, for leading the party to victory across the thirty-three local government areas of Oyo State.
“His achievement in this area is attributable to his unequal performance in all sectors of human endeavours like healthcare, education, social infrastructure, urbanization, youth and women empowerment, and workers’ welfare among others.
“The efforts he put into achieving all these have reverberated in the success of the last local government election and we congratulate all the 33 elected Chairmen and their Councillors, especially those in our Federal Constituency.
“The victory is to the people of the State and it is a call for these Chairmen to put in more efforts to achieve more dividends of democracy for the people in our communities,” he charged.
