Nigerians on a holy pilgrimage to Israel have been charged not to be weary in praying for the process, peace and development of the country, despite its many daunting challenges bedevilling it.
The charge was made by the Presiding Apostle of the Holy Nation, David Abraham, while addressing the last Nigerian contingent for 2019 Easter Pilgrimage, on Thursday, at the Sea of Galilee, in Israel.
Abraham said the body of Christ in the country must be agents of change, submitting that the country is in need of change and good direction.
Pilgrims from Ogun, Lagos, Plateau, Kwara and Oyo states are presently in the Holyland for the spiritual exercise.
The cleric expressed a strong conviction that only prayers would turn around the fortune of the country while urging rise up to the occasion.
He said, “God will not come in the physical to make a change for us in Nigeria. We need to function in the capacity of who Jesus is. As a body of Christ, we must not fold our arms or close our eyes against all the problems confronting the nation. This visit is prophetic and by our prayers and supplications, there will be an end to sorrow, darkness and tribulations in our dear country.”

He, therefore, charged the pilgrims to be of good ambassadors in their conduct and behaviour throughout their stay in the holy land.
The pilgrims touched down at the Ben Gurion Airport Tel Aviv on Thursday to perform their spiritual exercise and are expected back into the country next Friday.
The pilgrims have visited Mount of Beatitudes , Church of Heptapegoen in Nazareth where Jesus fed the the multitudes, Lake Tiberias,Mount Tabor among other places.
