The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda has announced four standing Committee chairmen.
The announcement was made during plenary on Monday.

The lawmakers named as chairmen include: The House Majority Leader, Hon. Temitope Adewale – Business and Rules Committee; Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Richard Kasumu – Legislative Compliance Committee; Hon. Surajudeen Tijani – House Services Committee; Hon. Setonji David – Ethics, Protocol, and Privileges Committee and Hon. Ogundipe Stephen – Information Committee.
Upon her assumption of office as Speaker, Meranda had dissolved all standing committees. In the coming days, additional committee chairmen are expected to be announced.
