Chief Executive Officer, Labo Entertainment, Dr. Olabisi Akanbi, who recently signed promising artistes, DJ Tough and Dotman, has been unveiled as ambassador for Youth Advancement Initiative (YAI) and Coalition of Nigerian Youth on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA).
This recognition came as a reward for Akanbi’s enthusiasm in redirecting the minds of the Nigerian youths towards positive change and also reducing the high rate of crime, which has become the most challenging problem of the country at present to the lowest minimum through his initiatives.
In line with the goal of YAI and CONSAYASS re-orientating and repositioning Nigerian youth as well as building young minds to strengthen the security system of the country, the association has deemed it fit to honour Akanbi for choosing the same path to impact the youths positively.
In response to the recognition, Akanbi, therefore, recommended that the government at all levels,
NGOs, private bodies, and individuals should put a hand in place to package sustainable programmes to empower the youth to curb unemployment in Nigeria.
“If our youth are engaged nobody will oblige them to fight anybody. The level of insecurity will reduce in Nigeria. As for me, I will continue to do my part to create more opportunities for youths,” he added.
National Coordinator of Coalition of Nigerian Youth on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA), Ademario Emmanuel, and his team in conjunction with Youth Advancement Initiative (YAI) expressed their delight to induct Dr. Akanbi following his innovative ideas to support the younger generation.
