The National Organising Secretary of Ansar-Ud-Deen society of Nigeria (ADS), Alhaji Ibrahim Kilani, has described women as agents of reformation, prudence, accountability and other virtues in the society.
Alhaji Kilani made the remark in a goodwill message at a meeting of the National Women Council of the Islamic organisation, held at Ogbagi Akoko in Ondo State.
The Muslim leader commended the founding mother of the women’s wing of the organisation which, he said, was today yielding dividends for the society.

He commended a multi-million naira building project embarked upon by the women at the ADS’s Summit University in Offa, Kwara State and urged the women to be supportive of the various other programmes of the organisation.
The chairman of ADS in the state, Alhaji Saliu Owolabi, described the meeting as an avenue to foster unity and cross-fertilisation of ideas about the growth and development of the organisation.
Alhaji Owolabi noted the support of the menfolk for the various efforts of the ADS women.
The chairperson of the ADS National Women Council, Alhaja Risikat Daodu, said the women would not relent in nurturing the Summit University project to maturity and urged the council members to be more active in the organisation’s activities in the various branches nationwide.
The meeting was also used for the election of new officers for the council wherein Alhaja Daudu was returned unopposed as the chairperson.
