Kiki Okewale to host female high achievers November 6

Recent statistics from various sources have proven that more women are starting businesses in Nigeria. Regardless of this positive rising in the number of these women entrepreneurs, so is the quantum of challenges they face operating their businesses. According to Kiki Okewale, a successful social entreprenuer, this has been of great concern to her.

“With the shocking rate at which the dollar exchange rate is rising, it’s no longer safe to leave anything to chance in business”, she said.  For intentional women entrepreneurs, Okewale believes women must go back to the drawing board and restrategise. She believes that like herself, there are many women with businesses they want to scale up. She said, in a recent interview, “Women with brand vision still have more they need to achieve. How do they navigate through all the tough experiences to achieve greater success in their business? That’s what gave birth to my new initiative, ‘Women High Achievers Trybe” (WHAT), a global community of high value women that I floated in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world back then”. With WHAT, Okewale is on a mission to impact and connect powerful women in Africa and the rest of the world, inspire other women to have a voice as they build themselves up into high achievers.

Also, she stressed that the positive feedback she has received in the last three years from women who have been uplifted by her passion for women development and empowerment has been profound. To expand the community of WHAT and provide platforms for more women to become more successful in their chosen careers and businesses, Okewale is hosting a powerful convergence of female leaders from across the country at the debut live conference of the WHATrybe.

Themed “Elevating Women Entrepreneurs: Strategies for Success”, it is scheduled to hold at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos on November 6.
