The Kebbi State Government has presented the sum of N189,237,459,98 billion to the state House of Assembly for the 2022 Fiscal year.
Presenting the budget tagged, “Budget of Economic Consolidation”, the state governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu stated that the budget also aimed at enhancing Agriculture and Mineral Resources productivity through access to technology, Financial and services to increase income generation also provide food security and poverty reduction.
The budget according to the governor also aimed to improve the livelihood of Youths and Women in an inclusive manner through job creation and social-economic empowerment that delivers social progress and transformation.
Recurrent Expenditure account for N61,060, 451, 684.31 billion representing 32%, while Capital Expenditure is in the sum of N128,177,008,113.96 billion representing 68%.
The recurrent expenditure figure is broken down to personnel cost of N36,193,541,804.31 billion, while the overhead cost is N24,866,909,880.00 billion.
