Kano State Government has approved the promotion of 102 workers in the mainstream of the civil service and 2 disciplinary cases in the month of August 2021.
The State civil service commission chairman, Mr Bello Mohammad Kiru discloses this on Friday, shortly after a meeting for senior staff promotion exercise held at the conference hall of the commission.
According to him, “102 workers were promoted while 2 disciplinary cases were treated respectively based on the civil service rules.”
He then charged promoted staff to reciprocate the gesture by committing themselves to their assigned duties diligently for the overall development.
Dwelling on the members of the commission, the chairman expressed appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the members for exhibiting a high sense of discipline and maturity throughout the conduct of the exercise despite some challenges bedevilling the smooth running of the exercise.
The government said it hope they would keep the flag flying for accelerated development of the service in the state.
