Current security challenges in the country will require divine intervention and a high level of responsibility by the Nigerian leaders to be tackled, Paul Enenche has said.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin at the weekend ahead of a three-day crusade organized by Dunamis Church, founder of the church, Pastor Paul Enenche, also attributed the agonizing economic situation in the country to a high level of irresponsibility by both leadership and followership.
“We are in Ilorin for a healing and deliverance crusade for the people of Kwara state and the environs,” he added. Security challenges in the country are a very desperate situation and a painful situation too. It is a situation that calls for a high level of pro-activity spiritually first; looking and crying unto God for divine intervention to help our land and deliver us from the hands of bandits, killers, terrorists, and kidnappers.
“And also a very high level of responsibility on behalf of leadership to take the necessary action by doing what governance is all about—which is the protection of lives and property. We believe that once these are combined together we will trust the Lord that there should be help in the land.
On the current economic hardship in Nigeria, the clergyman said that “it is obvious to the whole world that Nigeria can never be poor, but a high level of irresponsibility at all levels has made resources in the country not to be able to impact the lives of the people.
“We believe that by the time the right things are done both by leadership and followership then Nigeria can and must never be classified as a poor country”, he said.
