The Imo State House of Assembly screened twelve commissioner nominees on Thursday.
The Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Chike Olemgbe, while confirming the nominees, said the list was forwarded to the hallowed chamber on Thursday morning by the Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, for screening.
Among the nominees screened were the immediate past Commissioner for Works, Ralph Nwosu, and his Information and Strategy counterpart, Declan Emelumba, the immediate past Commissioner of Agriculture, Cosmas Maduba, the immediate past Commissioner for Digital Economy and E-Government, Chimezie Amadi, the APC candidate for Ideato-North/Ideato-South federal constituency in the last election, Chika Abazu; and others
Nominees were called in turns to present their resumes’ and entertain questions from members of the Assembly.
The Speaker announced the receipt of the 16 Special Advisers’ list by the House, declaring the Assembly’s approval of the nominees
