Musa said this at a press conference in Ogba area of the state while unveiling his 5- points agenda namely: Housing and Infrastructure Development, Blue and Green Economic, Capacity Building and Job Creations, Unlocking Potentials of the Local Government Areas and Sports and Entertainment, christened as “Pillars of Hope.”
According the the Badagry- born ANDP candidate, Musa, the achievements of the past administrations in Lagos State since the inception of Fourth Republic have been centered only on the execution of cosmetic projects masquerading as infrastructural development, promising to run a people’s oriented government and decentralise power to the grassroots so that the local government areas, with granted autonomy, can be developed.

The Aviation and Maritime expert enjoined the state government against encroaching dangerously on the waterways, in the name of claiming back land from water, warning that any surge of the ocean today in Lagos would be calamitous.
The aspirant said he had a road map to decongest Apapa, and returned it to its previous state, promising to engage and work with all the political parties in the state if voted into power.
“I will decongest traffic in Lagos State electronically. Lagos is due for E-Government which connotes operating from your comfort zone; getting in your comfort zone those things that are supposed to put you on the road such as the issuance of certificates, license, passport and many more. By the grace of God, we will engage the youth to design different apps to make all these possibilities for the good of our people,” Musa said.
Speaking further, the ANDP governorship candidate promised to reduce tuition fees in all Lagos owned tertiary institutions if elected by fifty per cent, stressing that primary and secondary education would be free, compulsory and value added, even as he equally promised to train teachers to be proactive and productive if he won, come 2019.
On Federal Government’s social intervention tagged: “Trader Moni,” Musa carpeted the idea, describing it as an open way of corrupting the minds of the people to “vote an incompetent government.”
“The Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo should note that Lagosians are not beggars, the government should stop dashing people money, they should create an enabling environment for jobs and opportunities to thrive so that people can feed their families.
“It is embarrassing to be giving people money on the full-cover of the camera, only a visionless government shares money that ought to be used to build infrastructures and develop ICT, they should stop corrupting us, Lagosians are hardworking people,” he said.
Musa, however, promised to cooperate with other South- West governors to develop the zone if granted the opportunity to serve the people.
He particularly vowed to work in collaboration with the Ondo State government to ensure that the 45-kilometre Epe – Araromi Road was constructed to decongest traffic along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway and boost inter-state trade and investment.
