Governor Uba Sani has promised that his administration is determined to leave Kaduna State better than it was when he assumed office. That is why his government is executing projects in critical sectors such as education, health, and agriculture.
The governor further stated that his administration is accelerating the implementation of its Rural Transformation Programme, having initiated over 78 road projects across Kaduna State since taking office.
Reiterating that these projects are progressing well, with contractors adequately funded to meet project deadlines, he emphasized his focus on connecting local communities to provide social and economic benefits.
He made this commitment during the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction and upgrading of Zaria township roads, including the route from Magajiya Junction to Kasuwan Amaru, with a link to the Unguwan Liman/Albarkawa road intersection and the Audi to Kako roads in Zaria Local Government.
“When completed, these Zaria township roads will serve a significant population of Zaria city, predominantly the urban poor. Job opportunities will be created, commercial activities will improve significantly, and security will be enhanced in the city and its surroundings,” he promised.
According to him, Zaria is too important to be left in its current state. He added that the groundbreaking ceremony is “another demonstration of our firm commitment to constructing new road networks, as well as expanding, repairing, and maintaining existing road networks to ease transportation and enhance business activities across the state.”

“The road from Audi to Kako, on the outskirts of Zaria City, connects predominantly farming communities. Our administration is committed to promoting accelerated development by extending infrastructure to all local government areas, supporting our communities in achieving rapid economic growth, addressing infrastructure deficits, curbing rural-urban migration, and improving the quality of life for our people,” he assured.
Earlier, the Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr. Jamil Ahmad, thanked the governor for the numerous developmental projects he has been executing in the area.
The chairman pledged the total support of the people of Zaria for the Senator Uba Sani-led administration, promising that they would increase the number of votes they gave the governor in the upcoming election.
In his remarks, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, welcomed Governor Uba Sani home, pointing out that the governor is a “son of the soil.”
The Emir, who also serves as the Chairman of the Kaduna State Council of Chiefs, commended the governor for executing developmental projects across the state.
