Ibadan North bye election: Aspirant seeks support of party members

As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) prepares to conduct a bye-election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency following the demise of the late lawmaker Olaide Akinremi, Taofik Aderogba, an aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on party members and leaders to support his candidacy.

In a statement released by Aderogba’s media team on Saturday, he appealed to party faithful to back his bid for the party’s ticket, emphasizing his qualifications.

Aderogba, a former labor union leader turned politician, highlighted his educational, social, and political readiness to represent the constituency. He claimed that his experiences have equipped him to elevate the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Aderogba further expressed confidence in APC’s success in the upcoming bye-election, stating that with his name on the ballot, the party stands a strong chance of victory.
