The most likely cause of your problem is inadequate vaginal lubrication before s3x. The pain can be resolved if you are more relaxed, if the amount of foreplay is increased, or if the couple uses a s3xual lubricant. Other likely causes of pains during s3x range from Vaginal Infections to Vaginismus (an involuntary spasm in the vaginal muscles, sometimes caused by fear of being hurt), Problems with the uterus (these may include fibroids that can cause deep intercourse pain) among other causes. The solution is almost always more foreplay. The more aroused you and your husband are, the more relaxed and lubricated you’ll be, and that can help alleviate pain. Spending plenty of time enjoying foreplay also helps take some pressure off of penetrative intercourse, which isn’t the end-all, be-all of s3x after all. In addition, a little extra lubrication with some water- based gel can certainly make s3x more enjoyable, especially if you don’t naturally get super-wet during s3x.
