A hit-and-run driver, on Wednesday morning, crushed a six-year-old pupil, Sunday Promise, to death in Ikaramu-Akoko in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
TribuneOnline learnt that the boy, who was on his way to school when the incident occurred, died after being taken to the hospital.

It was gathered that the driver of the Abuja-bound Toyota Sienna vehicle with registration number Edo 835 BEN, sped-off after the accident.
However, some commercial motorcycle operators who were around the area pursued the vehicle and caught up with it at Agbaluku area of Arigidi-Akoko, some 15 kilometres from the scene of the incident.
He was subsequently taken to a police station and handed to the security operatives after confessing to the offence.
