There was heavy security presence at the venue of the Ogun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Isabo area of the State, as the court delivered judgement in the petition of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu against the victory of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
It was a combination of the operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS); the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Amotekun corps.
Journalists and loyalists of Adebutu and Abiodun were subjected to scrutiny before gaining access to the courtroom.
At the time of filing this report, the Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management, Dr. Iziaq Kunle Salako; the Senator representing Ogun West, Olamilekan Adeola were already in court.
The three man panel chaired by Justice Hamidu Kanaza will deliver the judgement by 9.00 am.
